Rolex Datejust "Blue" ref. 116234

M serial 2008 example of the 116234, the first of the steel 6-digit Datejust references. Chunkier case shape relative to the previous, and the next generation, thicker lugs and with more presence. A personal favourite shape amongst the Datejusts.

Also equipped with the coveted roulette datewheel, and the ultra-sleek concealed clasp "Super Jubilee", which was unfortunately discontinued in favour of an easier-to-manufacture, and clunkier, bracelet reference on the later 126 series.
