Rolex Submariner "Gilt 4-liner" ref. 5512
£0.00
For me, this particular reference is the ultimate in gilt crownguard Submariners.
The 4-liner variant, with 2 lines in silver print, has greater visual variety than its 2-line counterpart.
In combination with the original and stunning gilt handset, and beautiful, perfectly even custard-yellow patina on the original tritium lume (note the matching pip in the insert), this largely untouched example, with its thick case & crownguards from 1965, ticks literally every box.
Pictured next to my slightly older underline Tudor 7928.
Siblings, or cousins, maybe.
